Tour the Riding Arenas

Our horse arenas, outdoor and covered riding arena: We’ll admit it – we fell in love with the open air covered arena that our daughter first learned to ride at in MacNair’s! A roof overhead with lights and no shadows to be seen, but no enclosure to trap the dust! Yes, it will get chilly in the winter, but we do live in North Carolina – so it’s a short-lived chill! This covered, 100×200 arena provides ample space for multiple riders to practice jumping, or simply an easy ride with protection from the sun or rain. Our outdoor jumping arena is a huge 150×250 with all weather screenings – built and designed by Gil Simmers, an avid horseman and equine construction guru. No pooling of water, not too deep screenings, and lots of room!
